HOUSTON, (5 June 2001) - Energy Exchange, a leader in connecting energy projects with financial sources, announced today that it is playing a lead role in helping solve the nation's energy crisis.

"President Bush stated recently that the real energy problem is not a shortage of petroleum but really a shortage of refinery capacity, " said David Mangum, President and Founder of Energy Exchange. We have helped source the enormous funding needed to make this two-part project possible. In phase one, three refineries will be refurbished and in the second phase, two new, high-capacity refineries will be built.
