Reciprocating Engines Conference
The Agenda is now final for the 4th Annual Advanced Stationary
Reciprocating Engines Conference, to be held in Downey,
California, September 18-19 2007!
The Conference will feature a number of cutting-edge, highly
informative presentations including:
Keynote Address by the Honorable John Geesman,
Commissioner, California Energy Commission
Lunch speaker Michael Wang, Ph.D., developer of
the GREET Model for measuring energy consumption and emissions in
reciprocating engines. Dr. Wang's presentation will discuss
both conventional and alternative fuels.
Lunch speakers Dr. David Rohy (Former
Vice-Chair, California Energy Commission) and Mr. Mike Jackson
(TIAX LLC)
Renewable and reformed fuels, including woody
biomass, landfill gas, and biogas
Status of Reciprocating Engine-Based Combined
Heat and Power in California, New York State, and Nationally
California Policies and Regulations, and
implications for Stationary Reciprocating Engines.
We are also excited to offer a site visit and reception at the
Miller Brewery in Irwindale, CA. The brewery's new engine
installation is fueled by brewery waste gas for Combined Heat
and Power.
